Mastodon definitely offers many reasons to be loved, but i simply love them for the feeling their music gives me. They seem to got that talent to make beautiful noise in whatever genre they make their music, like for example also on Temple of the Morning Star. The next show worth mentioning would be Cult of Luna with The Ocean in May, I'm looking forward to this one. You are very lucky with that Meshuggah/AAL tour, the last time AAL were playing here I was at a Dillinger show. I am waiting desperatly to see them :D

Hello there, glad to see you like such wonderful artists as Pauline Oliveros and Eliane Radigue. You may well like Morton Feldman, Terry Riley, Lou Harrison and Harry Partch. Happy listening, wherever you go

Thanks for the review! I heard they put people to sleep at their shows, but I'm totally digging the experimental stuff right now so I think I'm good.

Meh. Since I've moved to Greece there ain't much to see. While I was in Luxembourg I'ge to all the awesome Netherlands/Germany events, but now.... Thanks for the compliment, too. I will now proceed in stealing the music you listen to. I hope that's alright. Heh.

Thanks for the link and the recommendation, Kenro Izu seems to be an amazing artist. And Angkor Wat... once I almost had the chance to visit that magnificent temple... but unfortunatelly I missed it. Great charts and nice musical taste you have, btw. :)

Thanks for your literary lead - i know the book but i've never managed to read it...If you are not familiar with GEORG TRAKL an his poems, than i recommend it warmly to you. By the way - SomaFM is one of the greatest internat radio stations indeed. Anachronistic regards from cold Bavaria...

LOL- I thought the same thing. I played your station this AM and liked every single song that came up. Glitch, neofolk, BM; not a common combination!

Satori - Kanashibari (japanese for "sleep paralysis) has been one of my favorite dark ambient albums, def. recommended... Also David Kristian's OST for The City Without Windows and the last album I've been playing a lot is Lawrence English's Kiri No Oto... If you like dark dubby techo, I HIGHLY recommend this track: http://soundcloud.com/brut-records/marco-shuttle-the-horror-redux-edit-brut-14
