I guess my favorite album is LA Woman but The Soft Parade may be second. Its one of their lesser known albums yet there is still a lot of great songs on it. I really like Ghost Song (not sure if that's considered a Doors song), The Changeling, Been Down So Long, Tell All the People, Touch Me, Wintertime Love & a lot more. The title song on The Soft Parade is fantastic. When I first heard it I was like what the hell is this? But it grew on me real fast. What are your favorite songs & albums by the Doors?

I always answer George when some asks who's my favorite. Really though, based on Beatles songs it would probably be Paul who's my favorite. Its rather close though. Who is your favorite? And I forgot two really big bands I would absolutely have loved to see live. The Doors & CCR. Tears of joy pretty much sums Band on the Run perfectly doesn't it? I like & even love a lot of Paul's solo stuff but nothing comes close to it. What are some of your favorites from his solo days?

Nope. I haven't been to any festivals. The only ones they have out here are for the more current bands. I think I did manage to miss Black Label Society at one though, that was a bit depressing. What about Led Zeppelin or the Beatles in their heydays? I think the Beatles would've been annoying & disappointing unfortunately with all the screaming and 30-45 minute sets though. Rush, Soundgarden & Metallica are probably the main ones for me. Rush HAD to have a concert the same day as QOTSA. That really pissed me off. A double encore?! How lucky can one person get? :P If they played Band on the Run I don't believe my level of jealousy could ever be topped lol.

I don't know if I could bring myself to go to a show by myself. It really shouldn't be a big deal but it would be quite the chore for me. Maybe sometime I will gather the "strength" to do it lol. Who all played on the Warped Tour? Who's on that bucket list? I've already seen two of mine. Seeing Paul & Ringo would probably be at the top of my list. Although I doubt I'll get to see either one of them.

I can't say that I've heard of the Flatliners. What kind of band are they? I would say it would be nice to go to a concert with less people, I don't enjoy crowds but it is cool to see thousands of people there who are there for the same reason you are. They did play Make It Wit Chu live, actually. That would be awesome!

What is the second best concert you've seen now, then? Have you been to any other concerts at Stir? I saw Queens of the Stone Age there last year & I think it was as good as the AiC show. I honestly can't pick between those though. Everyone sounded so great like you said. It was magnificent. Sadly I didn't get very close but I still had a decent view. I was so jealous when I saw Jerry & Mike throw their picks into the crowd. Now I'm even more jealous that you were able to get one lol. Not nearly as jealous that you get to see them again though. :P

I thought it was fantastic to say the least. They played basically every song I thought they would & wanted to plus a few more. I'd say they surpassed my expectations but I expected them to be pretty damn good and that's just what they were. What did you think of them live?

I think some AiC fans wouldn't be pleased no matter how good Will sounds. Even if he sounded exactly like Layne, they'd complain about that too. I actually listened to a few songs from The Piper at the Gates of Dawn & enjoyed them. I have hardly heard any Pink Floyd with Syd Barrett, sadly. Maybe I shall try to listen to more tonight & some of that magnificent concert at that sold out coliseum :P . I've mostly only listened to The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here lately. And thank you I had a great weekend actually. I hope you did too.

I was disappointed at first but I think that was because I was like 16 or 17 at the time & didn't really appreciate acoustic stuff. Now I certainly do & I hate to say it too but it was hard to watch Layne on that Unplugged show. I know I'm really looking forward to this concert too. It would've been wonderful if Layne was still alive but I'm not going to say that they suck because they have a new singer. Do those people annoy you? People who don't like the newer Alice in Chains stuff? Its great stuff if they actually decided to listen to it & I think that's a lot of the problem. I also totally forgot about Wish You Were. I adore that album so much & I have seen the Pompeii performance of Echoes. It was beautiful to say the least. That whole concert just looks like the coolest thing ever. I may listen them tonight. That's also very kind of you to say. I'd also say you have gorgeous taste in music if its so similar. ;)

Can't believe that I forgot about Would? . I would absolutely love to hear it live. I remember getting the Unplugged CD for Christmas and I was a bit disappointed . But it grew on me. I appreciate that they would actually do something like that, granted a lot of bands did it around the time but they were one of the best. It was one of their last real big shows with Layne too wasn't it? Or maybe the last one with him period, actually. That's a great thing finding a band that you like so much that you try to listen to them less but you just can't stop because they're so good. I also really need to listen to more of Pink Floyd but I get sidetracked by some other band. I basically just know The Wall & Dark Side of The Moon. :/ I also enjoy Meddle though mainly for Echoes. :P

It's a different situation for me. I'm kind of getting back into them after over-listening to them. I tend to do that after I listen to a great band so much. And as long as you know how great they are now that's all that matters, right? I think they'll probably play most of the songs I want to hear Man In The Box (of course lol), Stone, Check My Brain, Hollow & hopefully A Looking In View. I'd love to hear We Die Young but I have no idea if they still play that live or not, Bleed The Freak & Down in a Hole. I'm sure there's others but I'd be very pleased if they played all those. What about you? What songs would you be disappointed if they didn't play them?

Well you sure are lucky lol. I haven't seen them live before but I've always wanted to. I was so surprised when I found out they were coming here. Have you been fortunate enough to see them live before?

I agree with you. I see you're going to the Alice in Chains concert in May. Are you from the Omaha-Council Bluffs area? Or are you just coming down to see them?
