Loads of new releases recently! I like the new one by Truth Club. And Vanishing Twin. And Heka.. and Blonde Redhead...

Nice, this is one of those profiles where you feel like you can get an idea of a person just based on the music they listen to, and how they listen to music (constantly digging for new stuff) Great library (from what I've seen so far, because it's pretty broad), will be coming back here to dig for more music

Yeah, in Mainz, was very good. I told them they were a recommendation by Francis from Holland 😀

Indeed, very sad. Not very old, John Cale, who's 7 years older makes a very good new record... Not very many that age are that capable. About Terry Hall, I noticed you've played none of his side projects, there's good stuff there

Saw Terry Hall on stage with The Specials at the Lyceum Ballroom back in 1979, it was one of my first concerts. They did a live EP back then taken from the concert I went to. So, very special to me. This one hurts : (

Well, it should be over 10K artists scrobbled just once, let's say some 40K, I don't know. There was time I made artist lists to listen from Bandcamp genre tags, as well wandered through Spotify, using 'add to queue' feature. So the numbers went up. Nowadays I listen more to whole albums.

It says we're "super"! Traams, Pool Holograph and This Is The Kit- oh yes! It'll be a long, hard season for Mainz unfortunately, would be great to stay up. No, I don't know him, will rectify that very soon. Where does he live then? Didn't last that long with Everton though did it? Everything back to 'normal' : P Hope you're well.

He was one of my favourite players whilst at Mainz so yes I do rate him a lot. He's been out for so long and I hope he makes it back but that can be really difficult, look at Gomes for example, still looking for his form.

Now this one really hurt me. Tim Smith of Cardiacs has died. Although he'd been sick for years it took me by surprise. Love Cardiacs.

Had a great win in Dortmund, I was much more relaxed after that result! Do you live near the sea?

Yep, good win! I liked Opera Alaska but preferred Lewsberg, another band you also know who were in the similar artists list and coincidently in my spotify weekly mix! Great stuff

Yeah, my team are in great danger but I'm not as emotional about it all as I would be if I was still actually going to games. It's all a bit meh.

I fear it'll never stop, it's also due to the fact that we're getting older and know so many artists. Must admit though, I honestly thought Little Richard had died years ago.

Thanks for the recommendations! Unfortunately more bad news from the music world. Florian Schneider of Kraftwerk has died of cancer, he was 73.

More bad news I'm afraid. Dave Greenfield, the only keyboarder I really liked as a teenager and the man that gave us Golden Brown has died of Covid-19. He was 71.

Bloody hell, indeed, sad days in this regard. I did see them live once. Not the greatest of concerts, but hey, I have seem them. Good bands, you have given me. Finish Flag being the lesser of them, with one song having a techno rhythm (not 4 me, ty),

So here is some music for you! I recommend everything by Pool Holograph, the self titled album by Cloth and a band called Finish Flag.

Yes, this is all getting slightly depressing isn't it? We only write to each other to talk about death!

Hello again, I came here once to share my first EP "Tudo Passa - Rio", now I came back to thank you for taking the time to listen and to say that I released one more hehe. This time in a more electronic / psychedelic vibe, I hope you can hear it and enjoy it, here's the link: https://youtu.be/SCnecECKWUI

Yet another musician has left us, David Roback (Opal, Rain Parade, Mazzy Star) was only 61. He made some great music, the Opal album 'Happy Nightmare Baby' being one of my faves.

Very sad news about Mark Hollis. Been hoping for years that he'd release a follow up to that amazing solo album too : (

Age is a factor but I think it's more about the development of the YZR-M1. Valentino's been runner-up 3 times in a row before the 2017 season, after all ... and Fergus Anderson was 44 years of age when he won the Spanish Grand Prix!

After the last two seasons I don't see a Yamaha rider come out on top just yet ... I hope Rossi can rack up a victory or two, though, and that Viñales will recover his strength. For what it's worth, I think Márquez and Lorenzo will be the ones fighting for the title this year, which would be really interesting to see since they have diametrically opposed riding styles.

Do you think Lorenzo will compete for the championship during his maiden year with Repsol Honda? (nice charts btw!)

Check the new album by a band from Basel named ANORAQUE. It's called 'Dare' and I think you may like it as much as I do. Cheers!

As noted on the site, can only agree. Thx for the recommendation. One good turn deserves another, a neighbour is in a band called Poncho (there are several, this one released the ep Juice in May)

Ja! Zeker!

The semi's are pretty easy; Belgium & England. I wouldn't mind either of them becoming Champions, so that's a tougher one. It would be good to have another Evertonian as World Champion, like Ray Wilson. And Jordan is doing a great job thus far. May it continue. And you?
