it was a great night! and hmm.. i'll have to explore some of the stuff we don't have in common in your library too. i'm not sure if i'll be going to youth lagoon now after i also saw Oberhofer last week. Not because I don't want to, but because it might be too late for me to get home. I hope I do though because i saw porcelain raft with smith westerns and they were great. the touring drummer is from Women which was a band i loved and of course youth lagoon is great too. you bought your lollapalooza tickets? i bought a pitchfork one day pass too just to see cloud nothings, since i didn't get tickets to their show this april.

Eek sorry, I just now noticed your shout! I see you like Regina, so why not check out Tv-Resistori? They play nice, quirky electropop, they're lovely :) Also, Eleanoora Rosenholm is very cool, more peaceful. Risto is also definitely worth checking out, it's more quitars and weirdness but totally awesome :D

It was definitely a good show. Very energetic, the right amount of rowdy. And I too was pretty glad they held it together. My friend in Ireland warned me that half the battle of Pogues fans is just getting a ticket, and that McGowan is rather unpredictable. Despite being nearly indecipherable to me I thought he did great! It was a great show!

considering the ambiguity of many nmh lyrics, i find certain phrases just beautiful. hence i choose to consider myself elected queen of carrot flowers! if one could be elected to such a position, i have to hope i'd have a shot.
