I absolutely love First Aid Kit and their sound. Definitely one of the best folk artists out there. Great charts! btw, what albums are you listening to right now?

Haha, Arcade Fire brought back the spark. I always have these periods where I listen to less music than normally. Busy with school stuff, playing videogame single player etc. holding me back :P

Yeah, I was hitting on an average of 20K a year. But as town went by I had periods in which I listened to a lot less music. It really varies these days. But I hope to be doing this still ten years from now. That makes a pretty cool history of listening habbits and tastes.

Heh probably true. One of the advantages of a long commute.;) That's a bummer man. I know how that feels. I used to have the same problem with my iPod. Which is where I do most of my music listening during the work week. For whatever reason Last.fm would never scrobble my plays. I've recently finally gotten it to work, though it's still a bit iffy at times. I probably missed at least 50.000 - 100.000 scrobbles on my 2007 account. Also feels bad that Last.fm doesn't allow you to migrate your plays or change your username. Ooh well, fresh start! :)

Hey there Meier. Likwise! :) Also wow at your 97.000+ scrobbles. I need to step it up with this new account of mine!

i ordered the full length album by Jake Bugg from amazon.co.uk and they subtract the VAT from the price when shipping to the US, so it came out to just about 10 pounds ($16) with shipping and arrived within a week...

Yeah, it's a venue for 1600 people. Sometimes they even book 'bigger' acts that can easily play a bigger hall elswhere in town (for 5000 people) like Arctic Monkeys and Sigur Rós. // And be sure to listen to their debut album as well, it's great . Lonerism is one of my favs of this year so far. Glad I'm seeing them this month :D

It certainly is. My favourite venue I can say. And it's close to my home as well. It's an old church next to 'Het Leidscheplein', one of the main entertainment area's in the centre of Amsterdam. They book lots of cool bands. Here's a pic from the inside: http://cdn5.bruring.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/LC09_LD_026.JPG /// What do you think of the new Tame Impala record? :D
