Is there any reason why this account doesn't scrobble with album tags? Seems like it just plays a bunch of MP3s without the album tag ever attached to it

Today is your 14th LASTFM ANNIVERSARY :-) ... Congrats ! ... Can you describe on all those years - how did your station's "musical listening habbit" expand over time?...

Actually a little known fact is BBC Radio 1's current head of music is former Last.fm staff member. He was hugely inspirational to our team, as he came from a broadcast radio background, and introduced us to some of the traditional playlisting techniques they used, like dayparting, categorising tracks based around audience familiarity ( new music, recurrents, golds, etc), theming stations and so on. Fascinating stuff, if you're interested in the 'science' behind playlists - a ton of thought goes into it. Certainly eye-opening for us, as our playlisting algorithms were developed and fine tuned by data scientists. :)

Wow this is awesome to look through. Super interesting to see how an artists mainstream popularity has wavered over the years. Kanye is played more now than he was in the Graduation era (widely considered his most successful mainstream spell), very cool to see!
